Kristen is the Director of Legislative Affairs for a federal cultural exchange program where she works with government relations and regulatory affairs.

Prior to joining the Building for Good board, Kristen was the organization’s first Program Director, helping to launch Building for Good’s national platform in 2019.

Before joining Buidling for Good, Kristen worked as a litigation associate in a Boston law firm in their complex commercial litigation practice where she assisted in multi-state and multi-district litigation and representation of a large corporate client.  Kristen also has a background in global education and cultural exchange.  Before attending law school, she worked for the world leader in international education; a global education company where she held various positions focusing on cultural exchange, educational travel, and language learning.  While managing the Boston headquarters of a world-wide organization, Kristen focused her efforts on developing charitable initiatives for staff participation, both company-wide and individual, and she implemented programs to further the company’s humanitarian missions, including staff service trips abroad. 

Kristen attended Suffolk University Law School where she was a Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow, teaching constitutional law to high school students and coaching them through a national moot court competition.  She also served as the executive editor of the Suffolk University Law Review and was a teaching assistant for the Honorable John M. Greaney (Ret.).  Kristen obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in journalism and French.
